Rev. Ricky L. Lee, Pastor
Rev. Ricky L. Lee was appointed to Lynchburg First UMC in June 2011. He is the son of Rev. & Mrs. Paul Lee. His father Paul who is deceased, was a retired United Methodist pastor. Ricky is married to Rhonda Kaye Kimmons Lee. They married on August 1, 1981. Ricky also has two brothers who are ordained pastors in the UMC serving in the Tennessee Conference. Ricky studied at Austin Peay State University, Martin Methodist College, and Candler School of Theology at Emory University. He was ordained in 1992 but has served churches in the Tennessee Conference since 1984. Ricky's grandparents were pastors in the Church of God of Prophecy. Genealogy traces have indicated pastors all the way back to England on the Lee side. Ricky is a descendant of Robert E. Lee.
Ricky and Rhonda have two children, Ryne who is married to Kim and they have a son Riley and are expecting an addition in October 2011. Also, they have Chelsea who is a senior at Tennessee Tech University and will graduate with a degree in Elementary Education Pre-K through 3 in the Spring of 2012. Ricky is an avid University of Tennessee fan as well as the Green Bay Packers and Tennessee Titans, Los Angeles Lakers, and Atlanta Braves.
Ricky has a love for all people but he loves kids especially as he is nothing but a big kid himself.
